• Belarusian visa on arrival

    Foreign nationals arriving in Belarus via Minsk National Airport can obtain a Belarusian visa on arrival at the airport.

    Before arrival a foreign national needs to submit the documents for the required type of visa to the Foreign Admissions Division (FAD) of the Consular Directorate of the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Belarus, which is located at the airport. All the documents must be submitted not later than the established time-frame:

    • For short-term visas – not later than 3 business days before the expected arrival date;
    • For long-term visas – not later than 5 business days before the expected arrival date.

      COVID-19 Update for Belarus

      All persons arriving in Belarus must self-isolate for 10 days upon arrival. This policy does not apply to persons arriving from the following countries / regions: Austria, Albania, China, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Monaco, Montenegro, Norway, Serbia, and Spain.

      Belarusian land border checkpoints with Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, and Ukraine are closed. This policy does not apply to persons holding diplomatic passports or crew members engaged in the cross-border transportation of goods or passengers. To better facilitate arrival, foreign nationals are encouraged to carry proof of a negative result for COVID-19 issued no more than 48 hours prior to departure using a PCR test.       The documents may be submitted directly to Foreign Admissions Division by the inviting company or person or by post taking into account the delivery time.
