    A tourist visa to Brunei is granted for the purpose of tourism and leisure or visiting relatives in Brunei. It is applicable for an intended stay of no more than 30 days.

      COVID-19 Update for Brunei

      The following categories of foreign national may apply for an “Entry Pass” to travel to Brunei Darussalam: essential business or official travelers, students, persons traveling for medical treatment, and persons traveling for compassionate or other special circumstances such as family reunions with Bruneian nationals or lawful residents. Once your Entry Pass has been approved, we will be able to assist you with visa application. All persons traveling with an “Entry Pass” must hold proof of a negative result for COVID-19 issued no more than 72 hours prior to departure using a PCR test and self-isolate for up to 14 days upon arrival.       Required documents for a tourist visa to Brunei:

      • Completed and signed Brunei tourist visa application form.
      • 1 recent passport-size colour photograph on a white background (bare-head and full face) – can be arranged in our office.
      • Original passport with at least 6 months’ validity beyond the validity of the visa and with at least two empty pages for stamping the visa.
      • Copy of a passport biopage.
      • Itinerary or inbound/outbound tickets.
      • Copy of a Residence permit for EP, PR, DP and S-Pass holders or a copy of a landing card for short-term visitors (less than 90 days) to Singapore or Re-entry Permit for PR holders. For a new employment pass with a QR code instead of an expiry date, you must provide a printout of the validity and expiry status which can be obtained with a free SGWorkPass app (available on App Store and Google Play).
      • A supporting letter from the applicant’s employer which includes your start date, states your job title, state your current salary, states that you are in good standing as an employee, includes your name as it appears on your passport.
      • Personally written and signed letter, addressed to the High Commission of Brunei, explaining the intention of going to Brunei.
      • Completed and signed Global Singapore visa order form.

        • Visa processing time is 4 working days excluding the submission day. Some nationalities may require additional background check so the processing time can be up to 14 working days.
        • Urgent service is not available.
