• South Korean ETA

Visa-free foreign visitors need South Korean ETA (Electronic Travel Authorisation) approval in order to obtain the boarding pass and to enter the Republic of Korea. K-ETA is valid for multiple trips over a period of 2 years. K-ETA only covers activities allowed under C-3 visa such as tourism, business meetings, discussions, conferences, short-term study with stay below 90 days, family visit etc. If your purpose of the visit is not covered under K-ETA or your nationality is not eligible for K-ETA, please apply for an appropriate visa.

Due to COVID-19, only nationals of 48 countries/regions where visa-free entry into South Korea is available are able to apply for K-ETA.

        • Please note: An additional 5% will be added to the total amount as this is what we are being charged by the banks for transactions.

        • The approved ETA will be sent to the email address you provided when submitting the form. Make sure your email address is spelt correctly to avoid mishaps in receiving your visa due to a trivial mistake.

        • Even if your K-ETA has not expired, you are required to apply for a new K-ETA if there are any changes to your information, such as name, sex, date of birth, nationality, passport information (passport number, passport expiration date), infectious disease or criminal record.
        • Those with K-ETA approval can go through entry immigration more conveniently, as they will be exempted from submitting the arrival card upon entry.
