In order to apply for a visa to Malaysia, you will need to go through a few steps:
Check whether you can obtain a visa on arrival.
Check whether your nationality is in the list of countries that require a visa to Malaysia.
You must have at least two empty pages in your passport. The passport must be valid for at least nine months from the date of exiting Malaysia.

A social visa to Malaysia will be issued to foreign nationals who require a visa to enter Malaysia for tourist, social, business or government-to-government matters.
