• Tourist visa to South Korea

    A tourist visa to South Korea is granted for the purpose of tourism and leisure or visiting relatives in South Korea and is valid for 3 months (single and double entry) or 1-5 years for multiple entry. Nationals from countries eligible for Electronic Travel Authorisation may apply for K-ETA instead.

    Travellers who are seeking entry into South Korea must submit through a travel agent appointed by the Embassy. Global Singapore has been appointed by the South Korean Embassy to submit visa applications on the applicant’s behalf.

    Quarantine-Free Travel to Korea

    • Quarantine is lifted for ALL travellers regardless of vaccination status starting from 08 June 2022.
    • The person is NOT required to remain in a certain country for a certain period of time before travel.
    • Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) / Antigen Rapid Test (ART) at a hospital or clinic within 1 day of departure OR PCR test taken within 2 days of departure.
    • Children under the age of 6 (as of entry date) accompanied by fully-vaccinated adults who submit valid negative test results are exempted from pre-departure PCR/RAT test.
    • ALL travellers including children below the age of 6 are required to register for Q-Code System prior to departure. A QR code will be issued to the traveller’s email after registration. The Q-Code is valid for one-time entry. Therefore, you need to register for Q-Code before every entry. If you require clarifications on Q-Code or assistance with any technical difficulties, please contact Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA) at +82-2-2633-1339. We will not be able to assist you with the Q-Code.
    • PCR test (self-paying) to be taken at Incheon Airport or at a medical institution near your accommodation. Taking the on-arrival PCR is compulsory even if the traveller will stay in Korea for 3 days or less. Travellers are allowed to carry on activities before or after taking PCR test.

    Required documents for a tourist visa to South Korea

    • Arrange your documents in the order according to the checklist.
    • All documents should be printed or photocopied on A4-sized paper.
    • Separate all the application documents for different applicants into individual sets.
    • NO staples/pins/paper clips should be used on documents.

    • Completed and signed visa application form.
    • 1 recent passport-size colour photograph on a white background (shoulders must be covered!) – can be arranged in our office.
    • Passport (original and copy) with at least 6 months’ validity beyond the validity of the visa.
    • NRIC/EP/Spass/WP/LTVP/DP (original and copy). For work passes issued with QR code, you are required to use “SGWORKPASS” app to obtain your pass information. A clear printout of the scan result obtained within recent 1 week must be submitted. Re-entry permit (applicable to PR only)

    • Letter issued by Singapore company to verify your employment status such as designation, salary, date of hire, date and purpose of visit (original and issued within recent 1 month). LOC (Letter of Consent) issued by MOM is required if you are LTVP / LTVP+ holder.
    • If you are self-employed: latest printout of ACRA biz profile.
    • If you are a student: School letter stating name, passport no. and student status (original and issued within recent 1 month).
    • If you are unemployed:
      • spouse’s company letter, spouse’s passport (copy) and marriage certificate in English (original and copy).
      • child’s company letter, child’s passport (copy) and child’s birth certificate in English (original and copy).
      • parent’s company letter, parent’s passport (copy) and child’s birth certificate in English (original and copy).
      • child’s school letter, child’s passport (copy) and child’s birth certificate in English (original and copy).
      • sibling’s company letter, sibling’s passport (copy) and both applicant and sibling’s birth certificate in English (original and copy.)
      • * Birth/marriage certificate that is not available in English must be translated into English and endorsed by the issuing country’s Embassy/High Commission in Singapore.
