Foreign visitors who are exempt from needing a visa for South Korea must obtain K-ETA (Korea Electronic Travel Authorisation) approval before traveling. K-ETA allows for multiple entries over a 3-year period and covers activities permitted under a C-3 visa, such as tourism, business meetings, and short-term stays. If your purpose of the visit is not covered under K-ETA or your nationality is not eligible for K-ETA, please apply for an appropriate visa.
Nationals of 96 countries are eligible to apply for a South Korean ETA. You can the list and the allowed period of stay on our online application form. The list of countries is subject to change. Travellers are reminded to check this website regularly for updates.
