    • Family visa (ARC) to South Korea

    A family visa to South Korea (ARC) is issued for those who are visiting their immediate family members who hold valid Alien Registration Card (ARC) in Korea for 90 days or less. If you wish to travel to Korea to visit your immediate family member who is a Korean national, please refer to this link (click) instead. Nationals from countries eligible for Electronic Travel Authorisation may apply for K-ETA instead.

    Travellers who are seeking entry into South Korea should submit through a travel agent appointed by the Embassy. Global Singapore has been appointed by the South Korean Embassy to submit visa applications on the applicant’s behalf.

    Required documents for a family visa (ARC) to South Korea

    • Arrange your documents in the order according to the checklist.
    • All documents should be printed or photocopied on A4-sized paper.
    • Separate all the application documents for different applicants into individual sets.
    • NO staples/pins/paper clips should be used on documents.

    • Completed and signed visa application form. It must be signed by hand (wet signature in blue ink).
    • 1 recent passport-size colour photograph on a white background (shoulders must be covered!) – can be arranged in our office. You cannot wear a white top; the top must have sleeves.
    • Original passport with at least 6 months validity beyond the validity of the visa and with one empty page for stamping the visa.
    • Copy of NRIC/EP/Spass/WP/LTVP/DP. For work passes issued with QR code, you are required to use “SGWORKPASS” app to obtain your pass information. A clear printout of the scan result obtained within recent 1 week must be submitted. The printout must show the access date at the top and the bottom. Re-entry permit (applicable to PR only).
    • To be eligible to apply for a multiple-entry visa, you must have visited South Korea at least once in the last 5 years.
    • Explanation letter regarding visit to Korea;
    • Copy of passport and Alien Registration Card (ARC) of the immediate family member residing in Korea;
    • Official family relations document to prove relationship (i.e. marriage certificate, birth certificate);
    • Applicable to EP, SPass, WP, LTVP, DP, STP only:
      • Letter issued by Singapore company/school that confirms the applicant’s leave request (original and must be issued within recent 1 month) AND
      • Proof of return to Singapore (please choose one):
        • Entry approval issued by ICA/MOM;
        • Business Travel Pass issued by MTI;
        • If the entry approval application is still pending/not available, the company would need to explain in the company letter what action(s) will be taken to ensure that the applicant leaves Korea in the event that entry approval to Singapore is rejected;
    • Recent 3 months Singapore bank account statements / passbook (original and copy) / e-statements, that show all transaction for the month. All pages of the statement must be included. * Credit/debit card statements will not be accepted.
    • Completed and signed Global Singapore visa order form.
