Citizens of 55 countries may be granted a single-entry Russian e-visa to enter the Russian Federation through the certain border crossing points.
A single-entry electronic visa allows a foreign citizen to enter the Russian Federation once and stay in the Russian Federation on a guest or business visit, as a tourist, as well as to participate in scientific, cultural, socio-political, economic, sports events and make relevant connections and contacts. If the purpose of your journey to Russia does not correspond to any of the above, you should apply for a traditional (non-electronic) visa.
E-visa is a single-entry visa and is valid for 60 days from the date of its issuance. The permitted stay in Russia with an e-visa is up to 16 days starting from midnight (00:00) of the date of entry, within its validity period. E-visa’s validity and/or the permitted stay under it cannot be extended. Entry and exit with e-visas is allowed by air, road and water transport, as well as without the use of vehicles only through checkpoints across the state border of the Russian Federation. E-visas are valid for stay all across the country.
